You lose details needed for authentication, redirects and content debugging. Ask the recipient whether a metadata-only trace is enough.

Timing, sizes and request patterns can still disclose information. This tool does not certify privacy or compliance.

How local processing works

All processing runs in the page. There is no upload endpoint, remote library, telemetry or file storage. Downloads are created in memory. Clear the tab to release its working copy; this does not delete your original or downloaded files.

Use the smallest recording that shows the problem. Keep your original private, agree on the required evidence with your recipient, and inspect the exported copy. This experimental tool is meant for structural troubleshooting, not session replay.

Chrome already offers sanitized export; broader redaction tools may preserve more debugging detail. Compare them with your needs before choosing this stricter mode.
